Colfax County Roads mission is to maintain and improve the county road and bridge infrastructure.

The county road department has 12 full-time employees overseen by Road Superintendent- Glenn Stevens Colfax County maintains 570.3 miles of roads of which 6.7 miles are paved. The remaining 563.6 miles of county roads are gravel or dirt are maintained using a variety of heavy equipment which include six motor graders, two loaders and two backhoes.
